Everyone has a story to tell. Whether it’s for your own personal satisfaction, for your family or to share with the world, Write to Remember is an introductory workshop for women using prompts to help focus each memory and start you on the fascinating journey of writing your life. The session will cover the different types of memoir, where and how to start, the craft of writing, how to edit and how/where to publish.

Using basic creative writing techniques, we will look at how to construct a memoir chapter as short story. Informative handouts will give you the confidence to continue this writing process at home.

Please bring an object as a memory prompt, a notebook and pen, and a willingness to share and listen.
