Calling Audacious Women to the Great Outdoors!

A practical and informative day of wilderness survival skills in the woods. We will light our 'hearth' fire in the morning and create our home for the day. Activities and exercises will be guided to support you to safely carve your own spatula, cook over the fire, and take part in meaningful solo work in nature.

Have a go at ancestral crafts and work with bone and other natural materials to create a piece of jewellery . (Re)discover some of the many aspects of you as we journey with these ancient skills- the survivor, the animal and plant communicator, and warrior. Enjoy time together around the fire with kindred spirits learning some skills.

Venue: Wild woods near Rosewell, Midlothian. We will leave no trace and will have few resources in the woods. The exact meeting point will be sent nearer the time.

You will need: (very) warm and waterproof outdoor clothing, a packed lunch, and a curiosity for the day.
