'We raise a clarion call to all women cyclists to join us for an afternoon of pedal power, celebrating the role of the bicycle in emancipating women and the legacy of ‘bicycling for ladies.’ From the suffragette days of bikes ’n’ bloomers to the modern day revolution of women on mountain bikes.

In the spirit of the suffragette movement and penny farthings, Aneela McKenna and Lynne Armstrong will share sisterhood giggles, personal stories and their passion for riding bikes.

Bring your bike if you'd like to join an optional ‘ladies bicycle ride’ - Weather permitting! We also have a few Juliana mountain bikes to demo courtesy of Jungle products. (Contact Aneela at aneela@go-where.co.uk if you'd like to book one. First come first served.). There will be interesting stories - and surprising revelations - along the way! We’ll finish with a stop for celebratory afternoon tea.

The event is free, but afternoon tea is not included.
